The availability of refurbished spindles allows customers to reduce machine downtime and operational costs while maintaining maximum performance and long-term reliability.

Spindle Maintenance and Management

Westwind air bearing spindles are internationally recognized for their reliability, high performance, and long operational lifespan.

To ensure the spindle delivers its best performance, Westwind recommends that each unit is properly installed, managed, and regularly maintained throughout its operational life.

Global Technology provides preventive and corrective maintenance services, using original parts and certified procedures to ensure that spindles maintain their precision, speed, and stability over time.

Warranty on Refurbished Spindles

Refurbished spindles serviced by Global Technology are covered by a warranty against repair defects for up to 1,000 operating hours or 6 months, whichever occurs first.

In the event of a failure attributable to a repair defect, Global Technology will, following a technical inspection, repair the spindle at no additional cost to the customer, including any applicable transport costs.

Warranty Terms:

• The warranty does not cover defects resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use, overloading, or modifications made to the product.
• The customer is responsible for providing proof of the defect under warranty claims.
• The customer must allow Global Technology to inspect the spindle subject to the claim.
• Any complaints regarding visible defects must be reported within 2 weeks of delivery, in accordance with applicable inspection and defect notification obligations.
• The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for minor contractual breaches. In the event of withdrawal, no further compensation claims may be made.

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in individual contracts, Global Technology does not provide additional warranties beyond those required by law and specified in contractual agreements.
