Global Technology offers specialized repair services for the most common spindles used in PCB manufacturing and precision machining, ensuring restored performance through the exclusive use of high-quality replacement parts.

How the Service Works

✅ Upon receiving the spindle at our facility, a thorough technical inspection is conducted to identify faults and defects.
✅ We then provide a detailed quotation, clearly outlining the costs for the repair intervention.
✅ The repair process will proceed only upon the customer’s confirmation of the quotation, ensuring transparency and full cost control.


Important Guidelines for Spindle Use

To ensure optimal performance and durability of repaired spindles, we recommend the following operational best practices:

Installation: Have the spindle installed only by qualified technical personnel.
Storage: Keep the spindle in a dry location at approximately 20°C.
Commissioning after storage: If the spindle has been stored for more than a week, do not use it immediately. Place it in the housing, connect the air supply, and allow air to circulate for at least 15 minutes to remove any condensation from the bearings.
✅ Before starting, ensure the spindle can rotate freely by hand.
✅ During the warranty period, use only original collets and avoid modifications, as this will void the warranty.


Spindle Warranty

Spindles repaired by Global Technology are covered by a warranty against repair-related defects for up to 1,000 operating hours or 6 months from the delivery date, whichever occurs first.

During the warranty period, Global Technology will repair the spindle free of charge if, following our technical verification, the malfunction is attributable to replacement parts installed during the repair.

In such cases:

  • Global Technology will perform the repair work and cover any related transport costs.

  • The right to withdraw from the contract cannot be exercised for minor defects or minor contractual breaches.

  • If the customer decides to withdraw from the contract, no claims for compensation will be accepted.


Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover defects caused by:

  • normal wear and tear,

  • improper use,

  • excessive mechanical or electrical stress,

  • unauthorized modifications to the product.

The customer bears the burden of proof in all warranty cases and must allow Global Technology to inspect the spindle claimed to be defective.

Any claims for evident defects must be submitted within 2 weeks of delivery. Statutory obligations regarding inspection and defect notification remain applicable.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Global Technology does not assume additional warranties beyond those required by law.
