Warranty Activation

The warranty for servo drives is valid from the date of delivery by Global Technology, but not longer than twelve months. The customer must inform Global Technology immediately of the activation of the warranty on pain of forfeiture. The warranty only applies to repaired parts.

General repair conditions

We provide a 12 month warranty on repaired parts. For example, if we have repaired the output stage, only the output stage can be repaired under the 12 month warranty. If the logic board fails within this period, it will not be covered.The warranty period starts again on the day of delivery from SIEB & MEYER.Even in stock, devices age, connectors oxidise, capacitors lose capacity, etc.

Servo Drive guarantee:

The repaired drive is covered by a guarantee against repair errors for a maximum of 1000 working hours and in any case for no longer than a period of 6 months. During this period, we undertake to repair the drive which, after technical feedback by us, turns out to be defective for reasons other than inexperience in its handling by the Customer. In this case, the repairs will be carried out by Global Technology which will face any transport costs. It is impossible to exercise the right to terminate the contract for minor contractual violations, in particular in the presence of minor defects. If the customer decides to terminate the contract, he can no longer make any claim for compensation.
The warranty does not cover defects resulting from wear, improper use, excessive stress, changes made to the product or the like. The customer bears the burden of proof for all cases subject to warranty.
The Customer must allow Global Technology to check the item deemed defective.
Claims by the Customer for defect in repair must be submitted within 2 weeks of delivery for evident damages. The obligations of investigation and notification of defects in accordance with current legislation remain unaffected
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in the individual contracts, Global Technology does not take on any other guarantees in terms of the law.
