Proper Warranty Activation and Management to Protect Your Operations

The warranty for spindles repaired or supplied by Global Technology SA is valid only from the date of activation communicated by the Customer and for a maximum period of six months.

The Customer is required to promptly inform Global Technology SA of the warranty activation; failure to do so will result in the warranty becoming void. Additionally, the warranty will be void if, upon inspection, Global Technology finds spindle components excessively worn compared to the declared activation date.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty exclusively covers defects attributable to:

  • repairs carried out by Global Technology SA,

  • replacement parts installed during the repair process.

Example: If the spindle stops within six months of installation due to impact with a metal component (e.g., a pin), this event is not attributable to the repair performed and is not covered by the warranty.


Activation Procedure

To correctly activate the warranty:
Complete the activation form below in full.
✅ Contact Global Technology SA if you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after submitting the form.


Spindle Warranty Conditions

A spindle repaired by Global Technology SA is covered by a warranty against repair-related defects for up to 1,000 operating hours or 6 months from the delivery date, whichever occurs first.

During the warranty period, Global Technology SA will repair the spindle free of charge if, following internal technical verification, the malfunction is found to be attributable to defects related to the repair or replacement parts installed by Global Technology SA, excluding cases of improper use or mishandling by the Customer.

In such cases:

  • Global Technology SA will perform the repair work and cover any associated transport costs.

  • The right to withdraw from the contract cannot be exercised for minor defects or minor contractual breaches.

  • If the Customer withdraws from the contract, no further claims for compensation will be accepted.


Limitations and Customer Responsibilities

The warranty does not cover defects resulting from:

  • normal wear and tear,

  • improper use,

  • excessive mechanical or electrical stress,

  • unauthorized modifications to the product.

The Customer is:
responsible for providing proof in all warranty-related cases,
required to allow Global Technology SA to inspect the spindle claimed to be defective.

Any claims for evident defects must be submitted within 2 weeks of delivery of the repaired spindle. Statutory obligations regarding inspection and defect notification remain applicable.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Global Technology SA does not provide warranties beyond those required by law.
