The number of hits is determined by various factors such as the diameter of the drill, the use of a new droill or a re-sharpened drill and the type of perforated material. The file was calculated for new drills, taking into account a peripheral cutting speed of the tool of 150 m / min. To determine the number of hits, take the value that corresponds to the diameter of the drill and the type of material drilled, convert it into mm and divide it by the thickness of the material to be drilled. Re-sharpened drill should perform 20% fewer hits than new drills.
